Made when the lights went out

Portland.
After hours.
1986.

For six weeks, after Coco’s Famous Hamburgers at Sylvan closed for the night, The Wheezer Society turned the restaurant into "Merkin's" - A Roadside Diner with some very angry furniture.

Written, filmed, and produced in 1986, Furious Furniture brings that late-night creative spirit back to the screen. This Halloween, revisit the short—and think twice before taking your seat.
